The result is a raw, unrefined mustard oil that retains its characteristic sharp pungency, bold nutty aroma, and complete nutritional profile.
Most mustard oil sold in India today is solvent-extracted or expeller-pressed at high temperatures. This process destroys the oil's natural omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, eliminates its antioxidants, strips its authentic flavour, and leaves behind chemical residues. Safe Harvest lakdi ghani mustard oil undergoes no such treatment. It is pressed slowly at low temperatures, filtered naturally, and bottled without additives, preservatives, or artificial colours — giving you pure sarson ka tel in its most potent, most flavourful form. The very high AITC content of 0.5% (the FSSAI limit to be classified as 'cold-pressed' is 0.2% by the way) is proof of our pungent processes.
